99 SRX questions

I'm going to be installing a ripsaw in the SRX, is there only 1 bearing (speedo) that should replaced? also does anyone know where to get one more resonable then going thru the dealer? also I put a 2 inch riser in last year and since then it seems like I'm having promblems with the tors switch.. sometimes when I let off real quick and then jump back on it it the motor will not go over 3000rs and then in a few seconds it runs normal.. make sense??? any ideas would be great. thanks

The tors problem is most likely from your throttle cable being adjusted too tight. Try loosening the cable adjustment and it should go away. The other possibility is that your riser is too tall for the stock cables, and it is putting too much tension on it causing the tors switch to activate, stalling the engine to below 3000 rpms. If that is the case you can get throttle and oil cables from a mountain max, because they are several inches longer and will accomodate most extensions easily.
 
I desroyed the bearing on the other side in the chain case last year and replaced both sides when I had it apart just for peace of mind, the bearing thats most likely to go first is the speedo side
 
I had a run in with my TPS override when i changed jets, It did the same thing as your SRX, Just losen the throttle cable as its running and keep giving it some throttle, till it runs right, then go just a little bit more, and you should be all set, Ive got 2 inch risers in mine and have had no problems...

you need to check all of you're bearings even the ones on you're skid. also don't forget to check you're slides and w arm while you're in there.
 
Drill holes in your slides. Two benefits: helps hold snow for areas where there may not be much snow, it will melt out and still provide lube and cooling for awhile. Also, allows you to see exactly how much slide material is left at a given time, you can run them a lot closer, knowing you aren't going to be into the rails.
