EXCITER SX PIPE SHOOTOUT
I you read all the articles on that site, there's an article that goes over problems with Exciter mills operating over 7900-8000 RPM, they foam the fuel in the float bowls, and lean out all the time, and blow up.
I am clutching my SX to 7250 - 7400 RPM, with a PSI single pipe, and that's it. Makes a healthy high 90 HP right there, and it's not spinning super high RPM's.
Clutching is important as well, I put a YVX secondary on mine, and upgraded the white slider towers in the primary to the little black buttons like the 95+ sleds. Haven't tested it much yet, but I will be.

I am just trying to get mine to run right again, but then I am going to be running it at 9000+ feet this year.

Need to get pics; but have been running my '93 SX with a PSI pipe, Ripsaw track with pics, RX-1 plastic skis and low-black wind screen. Would love to get a cold air kit, if I could find one. I did find an SX cover too.
