Looking to buy new old stock sled...

Hey guys,
How old of a sled have you ever heard being bought new from a dealer?
I absolutly love the Viper, and will buy one if available after this final year on my PZII.
So, does anyone think I'd be able to go to a dealer and pick up a brand new old stock Viper by any chance? If not, I guess I'll have to look into the expensive 4 strokes... or really try to find a dynamite deal on a used Viper.
I just love the way they look.
 
There was one out east - a 04 Viper S new in the crate a few weeks ago.

They're out there. Maybe Yamaha USA could help you find one?
 
Keep an eye on Ebay...once in a while you see one pop up on there. You will at least find a low mileage sled...they are easy to find.

I second that; keep looking on eBay-low mileage (and I mean low) sleds turn up on eBay a lot-keep in mind that Yamaha builds bullet-proof engines-a sled with only 1,000 miles is just getting started.

I personally purchased a '96 Phazer II with less than 200 miles on it, from eBay. I also purchased my '02 SRX with less than 400 miles on it-found the sled through Yahoo-dealer in IA.

I have also seen SRXs and Vipers with less than 100 miles on them (not scams).

Keep your eye out-they are out there!
 
I'm going to try to keep it in the family. I personally would hate to give it away for less than 1500 Canadian, so my youngest bro wants to step up from his Artic Cat Jag 340. I will surely list it in autotrader come next fall to see if I can't get someone to pay 2000 for it... I know, wishful thinking, but hey, I can try. I'd be happy keeping it in the family as I do love this sled. It's been nothing but great for me. I just love the Viper looks and power though.
 
I read a dealers add selling a new 03' Viper ER a couple weeks ago. I believe he was asking $4,999.00. The dealer was in Michigan.
