i bought dual stage reeds for my vmax 600 sx twin . the instructions say that i may have to do some jetting. can anyone help me. I dont know anything about jetting. 
If you start fouling plugs, you will need to jet down meaning you will have to put a new main jet in that has a smaller number, ie- IF you have a 143.8 you will need to drop to like a 141.3. You will have to take it for a ride and see if your plugs lighten up to where they are a coacoa color brown, but becareful of the temps when you do this as if you go riding when it is colder you run the risk of putting(burning) a hole in the piston. Sometimes it'll run fine at full tilt(wfo) after installing new reeds, but sometimes it is just that you will need to have to change the needle settings to possibly run leaner at partial throttle openings.
