what would be safe compression levels for difernt octan levels(pump gas) im gonna check my compression and when i do i want to know what gas i can get away with. i mostly run premium but with gas prices no a days and me bein in school its getting harder and harded.

forgot to mention i have one layer removed fromteh gaskt a the head shaved .010 inches i think. aslo have triple pipes.

does any one know the recomended octane for psi liek say 120 would be like 87 oct. like what psi should u run 110?

Thats not the way that it works.

well isnt teh higher the octane the higher its tolerance for predetination. thats why high compresson motors need to run a higher octane to pervent burn downs.

There are a lot more factors than just compression, such as squish, heat, etc.

Thats a good basic explanation. If you tell us what you are looking to do (race fuel, AVGAS, etc), you will get better advice.

well im planing on geting my cylinders ported, maybe some v foce reeds. a bost bottle and runging my power inc pipes with a .055-.060 squish zone. im wondering if i should add octan bost or even run a liek 50/50 75/25 mix or prmuim and race gas. i should be able to get the race fule threw work. or is just 91-92 oct would be good? get a srx rear exchanged to help with cooling too.

your gonna need higher octane that 91 or 92

I think premium should be fine with that, nothing too extreme going on there. Run the stock head gasket though.
