1) Is the setting for the full Rate adjuster to be set for the riders weight. ie rider weighing up to 225 should have the full Rate adjustment set at the Middle or setting B?

2) I found last year that I had lots of inner ski lift what is the adjustment that would correct this problem?

3) I have 2.5mm nylon spacers on the top and the bottom of my control Rods should the distance be equal for proper rear ride height?

thanks

The fra depends on rider weight as well as style of riding. If you ride fairly easy on the trails and they aren't very bumpy most of the time, put it on the medium setting. If you find that that is too soft and that you are bottoming a lot or you ride quite aggressively, you will probably want it on the hard setting. As for control rod gap, yes, set the rear spring preload to get a 50/50 control rod gap. To reduce ski lift, soften the center spring some so that it is not using the center of the suspension as the roll point. Hope that helps.

tighter control rod gaps help keep the front down and help with inside ski lift, on srx applications people who drag race open up the gap to help in weight transfer for better straight line performance...its a trade off for your preference....CP

What do you mean by tighter gap? using bigger spacers? The reason why I when to 2.5 spacers was to flatten the track do to high hyfax wear. The track at the rear was way up in the air causing high wear at the bend. One of the post that I was reading before suggested 2.5 at the top and 2.5 at the bottom also tightening up the front limiter staps and not much preload on middle shock to get the track to sit flat. It is Handles good now, low hyfax wear also change to camo. ripsaw and oversized polaris wheels. but it seem like you have to lean lots to keep the machine flat it the turns.

Thanks for all the input

do a search for betheviper post he talks about having worn out bushings in the front "w" arm of the skid and this extra play will let your sled lean more as well....the tighter the gaps at the control rod spacers the less transfer of the skid, it won't rock back as easily because both arms are coupled in the rear skid. Now if you have larger gaps the sled leans back (transfers more larger gaps) say when your accelerating out of a corner and lightens the pressure at the front skis, your sled leans over to the outside ski which is at or near the lightest part of the spring tension , this is not including your heavier at 225lbs, look into getting a firmer rate front suspension springs from pioneer check their web site out.....hope this helps CP
