Rear heat exchanger w/pipes

I am long tracking and putting pipes on my 01sxr700. Should I be upgradeing the rear heat exchanger, if so what should I be using.

the rear exchanger from the SRX is the biggest and provides better cooling. The problem you may have is depending on what long track kit you use the bigger exchanger does not fit. I have the rear SRX exchanger on my piped SXR.

I'm using the MPI kit. Do you know if the SRX exchanger will fit?

If you already have a rear heat exchanger it should be good enough

Make sure the extension is long enough so the SRX or stock SXr exchanger doesn't hit the track when compressed. I never had a heating problem with MMax exchanger and they sit flat to the ext running all the mods you mentioned.

Thanks for the info guys. I have a temp guage and I will run with the existing cooler and keep an eye on the temp.
