I bought a Viper from a guy in OHIO. It was in good condition but it was very Dirty. He had a little girl and I don't think he had time to be anal. I have a freind that details sleds. As I stated this sled was nasty. Take a look now


As you can see the pipes look Bad. I'm going to have them Redun Right. CCPERFORMANCE is the only place to have stuff coated. I had My SRX pipes done and they looked like new for 3 years. These CPR pipes were coated 1 year ago and they look like crap. CC didn't do them originally and it shows.

You can also see in the pic's the Former owner had a hard time fitting these pipes. He beat them with a hammer to make them fit. Not good. I'm going to pull out the dents and weld any cracks prior to getting them coated.

Before you send those pipes out try using some Mothers Mag & Aluminum polish and some ultra fine steel wool to get the surface rust off and when your finished give them a coating of WD-40.

I would but the guy beat them with a hammer. Not only did he dent tehhell out of them but it crack one of the pipes in the process. :o| :o|


I bought it right 2300.00

it's got 3800 miles. It has CPR pipes "beat up" lol, Mega power heads with head plate, and FlybyBo porting.

Skid plate, Rear cooler, Heavy hitters, brand new 9830 track, and a engine tensioner.

Tony I was looking for a cheap lake racer. I found one and it's going to run. I'm hoping the motor makes in the 150's for power and I'm going to spray it with a 45 HP hit of NOS.

LOL I'm sure I'll eat a few and be eaten by some fast blown versions. I'm going to spray this Viper. Any thoughts????
 
Do you have a particular place where you race often or is it more of a " wherever you're at" type of thing? I would like to watch and see how a pro does it! Maybe I could learn something.

A Pro? LOL I'm No pro but we race every weekend on Anchor Bay which is 10 minutes from my House in New Baltimore. We also go to all the races they have in Northern Michigan like Cadillac and Lake City put on a run what you brung races.

Come anytime. I'll even let you run my sled if you want. It's a lot different running a sled that's setup to run on the ice with a speed track and chisels.
 
Thanks! I read an article in the Detroit news a couple years ago about the race action on the bay. Sounded like some real hardcore sledders. If I had something else nice to ride (Kims SX600 doesnt count) I would like to set the SRX up for that kind of fun.
How is business over there in Southfield? I dont think you are on my schedule till later next year.
 
Can't wait to line the sleds up in northern mi. I wanna see what that sled has. Just got my hood back from nick and it looks great. will post pics soon.
