Hi guys, this is the first post I have made on here. I was searching the net looking for vintage sled stuff and found this site. Wow rob it looks like you have a wicked collection, what other vintage sleds do you have? That 82 you have as your avitar is that your sled? And the Supersonic what would it take to buy that? I have a Super Stocker sitting on the bench in a basket case and I thought that once it was done it would be nice to have a Supersonic sitting beside it. I was looking on the map of where Woodslee is in Ontario, I have family that lives just across the border in Michigan. A while back I had emailed a guy, I can't remember his name but I think he lived down near Windsor too and he had a 82 skidoo snopro if I remember right. But at the time I was after a twin tracker that he owned. Do you know of this guy? Anyway I can't wait to see the pics of your collection. Cheers

the guy you where talking to was my partner i share this collection with, we also have a 75 artic cat 440Z, and a snowtwister with 2 spare mod motors, it a pain storing all these sleds, i will post pics once i get my new camera working. and sorry but none are for sale at this time
 
hi rob, come to think of it I believe I met your "partner" at a show in Michigan were you there with him cause if you were then I think I have met you as well. I am serious about the Super Sonic, I have been looking for one of these sleds for a long time. Everything in this world can be bought, I am not trying to be arrogant here but name your price. I had a line on one of these sleds a while back up in the sault st. marie and I have been kicking myself ever since that I didn't move on it. I will do anything to get my hands on a Super Sonic. So lets talk. Hope to hear from you soon.
 
K rob, I decided to do a search on the net for a 82 Snopro Skidoo and I found a website called Mailloux Chassis. And I see that there is a whole smash of pics of vintage sleds. So I gave them a call and talked to the guy who I guess owns all those sleds. He seemed a bit confused when I said to him I was talking to his "partner". He said he stores the sleds at a friends place but that he has no partner and he owns all the sleds except for the 75Z. Are we talking about the same guy I am a bit confused myself? I mean what are the chances of finding all these rare sleds and that there is 2 colletions like this in the same area? Shed some light on this.
 
your a little confused, you talked to andre right? we are partners on this collection, i got alot of money, phone calls and miles driven into this collection, i am going to try and post a pick of the super sonic, i am the guy who runs that website, did you see my mustang?

Hi rob, ya it was andre I was talking to yesterday. The black Mustang that one is yours? Are you guys partners in that mustang too? That thing looks like it leaves hard. So back to the Super Sonic that thing looks awesome!!! You still haven't said though what it would take to buy it. I am serious about owning one of these sleds, and yours being that it is in the condition that it is please lets talk. Is there a sled or parts you or your partner are after?
 
i dont know why they dont get bigger! what am i doing wrong? i wish i could help you out big elky but we dont have any sleds for sale, the mustang has 800 all motor horse power, goes 9.20s @ 148mph

My asphalt sled went 9.2 @ 144mph in the 1/4 mile at ESTA. 1017 cat. I loved running it against the full dragsters. I'm thing about building another one. This time using a SSR. :Moon:
 
what kind of hillbilly track do you run at, there is now way a sled would be run against a dragster, sleds only race other sleds or bikes for safety reasons,

i am not afraid of racing anyone, all i was trying to say was our local tracks do not run dragsters or door cars against bikes or sleds for safety reasons, can you imagine what would happen if a car went into the other lane and hit a bike or sled, i have friends that race sleds at the strip, i got alot of big boy toys too.

I wasn't having a good day. My wife was robbed $1000 at bj's and my sugar was 419. We do still run sleds at ESTA in the gamblers againts dragsters. Dean-o
 
Hi Rob, I am gonna say this I will give you 6000 to 8500 for that Super Sonic depending on the condition up close. I know we have all heard it before about guys being after stuff and it is alot of hot air but I am serious!! I could be at your place in like 8 hours if with money in hand if you are interested. I like your Mustang, I use to race a 67 Camaro back in Modified days of NHRA. It ran a 292 with 2 fours that screamed with a 4 speed. 10 to 11000 rpm. Oh that brings back some memories... Your Mustang seems fairly fast at 800 hp, but shouldn't your et be a bit faster with that kinda power? And your speed seems just a little bit off as well. Are you and andre partners in that Mustang? Do you work at andre's chassis shop? I have thought about building another car but how many irons can you have in the fire... Anyway can't wait to see the rest of the pics of your collection... cheers
 
when we do decide to get rid of the super sonic i will definately contact you, at this time it is not for sale, the sonic is a 10/10 showroom condition, i own the car and andre is the chassis man, i run a small 28inch slick, with taller tires it should pick up. no matter what you do there is always something left in your toys. thats why we play right
