Anyone know if the rear long travel Kayaba shocks out of a Viper will fit in the SX600R skid? If so what needs to be done to make them fit??
did this add any more travel to the SXR? It looks like the SX600R sits quite a bit lower than the Viper I took the shocks out of. Just wondering if anything can be done to get alittle bit more travel out of the SXR by installing the Viper shocks.SWEDE said:It should be a direct bolt in, I know some people who have bought the viper upgrade shocks to put in many older proaction skids.
It is a 1999 SX600R and it looks like it sits quite a bit lower than the Viper I took the shocks out of. Looking to posabily gain some travel on the SX600R if at all possible. Any suggestions????Whiplash said:Is it a sx or sxr? They didn't make a sxr in 99. If it's a sx SWEDE is right if it's a sxr follow BETHEVIPERS directions. If it's a sx i think you need the longer limiter straps.
What model straps are best?? Viper Limiter straps I am assuming.BETHEVIPER said:you need shocks and straps. may as well rebuild the skid while its out.
