Hi all,
I was thinking of getting transfer rods for my but they're really expensive (over $200 Cdn with tax).

Can I just cut the existing washers on the stock transfer rods on my Venom? If so, how much should I cut off and from which washer, top or bottom or both?

I want better hook up and still keep the skis on the ground.

Cheers.

You could just switch the one's you have now. Put the top one on the bottom...etc. I did that the first year i had my SRX, poor man's transfer kit. Work good for better traction out of the hole but i did have to pull up the limiters a bit to get better bite in the corners. But you should get a set of adj rods, post on here and should be able to get some at a good price or check out Royal Distributing online they have a cheap set for like $90 CND.....James

If your handy with tools at all there's a link in the tech section to make the stock ones into adjustable transfer rods. You need a welder, thread taps and some other small gear to accomplish this.Otherwise post in the classifieds and see if someone has a set for sale.
