Open clutch cover and
just push helix clock wise that secondary opens, then pull belt out.

i usaly twist and push on the helix to open the sheves then u can pop it right off. otehr then tahst theres teh good old park goin up a hill and then pull the buld so it just catches the top of teh secondary adn roll it down the hill. this one prolly not as good for the belt id amagin some stretchin on the belt.
Knife!

Thanks guys I got it off.....i was thinking about cutting it!!

I usually put the ebrake on and twist (with my hands) the inside secondary sheeve clockwise. That will open up the secondary and create space to get the belt off

palm of right hand against one of the nuts on the top/right side of the helix (one of the 3) brace your right elbow against your hip and lean into it hard. Pull the belt over the primary with your left hand, then you can stand up and pull it off the secondary aswell.
glad you got it sorted, but the way I just explained is what I've found to work best. Race much and you'll figure out the way that works best for you REALLY fast.

you got it or, just pull up on it and they slip right off and if that don't work push back on the sled so belt is loose in the clutches and you should be able to push it off.crewchief47 said:Knife!![]()

Very similar to Junior, but . . .
- Set parking brake on.
- Take clutch guard off or swing up out of the way.
- Place right palm on top left of helix on secondary.
- Place left hand on both the belt and the inboard sheave of secondary at top.
- Push in (with both hands) and toward back of sled.
- This will open the secondary, and push the belt down in to hold it open. The 2 hand approach is helpful if you have a heavier secondary spring such as is required with a roller clutch.
- Pull belt off the bottom of the secondary (should be loose).
- Pull top of belt out of the secondary (will clang shut).
- Work belt around primary and past foam on belly pan.
- Throw belt over head or around buddy's neck.
