What are my options on long tracking a 1999 SX 600 from the 121 to a 136? longer rails or rail extensions? what is the max. lug height I can go with the stock drivers? I want to keep it simple and the cost down as this is an older sled, I just get tired of getting stuck when off trail riding here in michigan. Should I buy a kit, If so who offers them? any help appreciated! :o|
Thanks...

I just installed a 136" kit from Hartman Inc., Tom (the owner) is very helpful. I went with a Camoplast 9834H, unfortunately I didn't get the deal I saw on ebay just yesterday, $225 w/ free shipping!

I have yet to ride the new set-up, but I know it will be a ton better!

Maxx Performance made a nice kit, but unfortunaly they went out of business. I put a 1.50" ripsaw on the 01 sxr with stock drivers, all I had to do was remove the front heat exchanger protectors (no plans to run stud.)

i got a hold of a totaled out yamaha with a 136 skid in it. it worked out great for long tracking my sx. was able to use the longer heat exchangers and the tunnel extension and stuff like that which made it pretty easy besides havin to pretty much re-poprivit the entire tunnel.

tunnel

I have a complete tunnel all exchangers bumper, hose covers and 136 tunnel extension off of my MSRX. All stock Yamaha parts, went with Ekholme roller. All you would need is a track and extensions but I would go with the 136 rails and move the rear mounts back if your heavy.

Ebay listing I saw was for the track only and upon further review, it isn't a 9834, it only has every 3rd window open and clipped. Also saw it was up to $239.

Streching

I am currently in the mists of long tracking my 2000 SXR, I accually peiced together my kit for many places: Hartman Rail Ext./ Tracks USA Tunnel Ext/(This is the funny part--Polaris Edge SKS Rear bumper) The track its a take off @ a local dealer ship, total right now i have about 475 into it, if you plan on doing this, set a-side a complete day to do this, im rolling into the 8 hr slot for mine so far, i jsut have to get the drive shaft out and put the track and suspension back into it, its worth the time and money........
