Lower SW Michigan HERE IT COMES

LAKE EFFECT SNOW IS EXPECTED LATE TONIGHT AND THURSDAY...
GRADUALLY TAPERING OFF THURSDAY NIGHT. SNOWFALL COULD BE HEAVY
WITH TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 6 TO 10 INCHES POSSIBLE IN AREAS
WHERE THE HEAVIEST SNOW BANDS PERSIST. AT THIS TIME THE HEAVIEST
SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED TO BE NORTH OF A MICHIGAN CITY TO WARSAW
LINE... INCLUDING THE CITIES OF BENTON HARBOR... SOUTH BEND...
GOSHEN... ELKHART... AND CASSOPOLIS. IN ADDITION TO THE LAKE
EFFECT SNOW... STRONG WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS COULD CAUSE BLOWING
AND DRIFTING SNOW.

Not to pi$$ you guys off, I sure hope it waits for a couple days. i may be heading to port huron tonight, and after fri night I don't need bad weather again. Maxdlx

No kidding Max, I gotta drive thru South Bend and Elkhart Thursday morning!!! Push it out of Indiana please!! Better yet, push it backwards into Wisconsin and Minnesota, so I can ride!! :brr
 
any of you guys located around lawton or paw paw MI. If so how much snow do you have? I may go to the cottage in lawton and try to ride this weekend. thanks. Oh is there a link somewhere that will tell you snow depths in Michigan. Thanks

Chad, I'm in Portage and have about 4 inches on the ground and it's melting pretty fast right now. Unless they get really dumped on, I wouldn't plan on riding in Lawton this weekend... especially since it's supposed to be upper 30's lower 40's on Saturday & Sunday

It came, we rode, I crashed and it melted.

Nothing a new frame and a couple of weeks of R & R wont fix!
