I am assuming that the curl and lifting of the reed petal is a bad thing since it will allow air in when it shouldn't. Would this lead to bogging at take-off? I will be replacing all but do any of these show the correct position?
Is it correct that they should lay flat and I would see the black line/surface contact all around the edge?
Thanks,
Al

Al you are correct. That set of reeds looks junk to me. Maxdlx
Yes - tired pedals and cracked stoppers - Just get OEM pedals and stoppers. Use locktight on the small screws holding the stoppers.
