Front Heat Exchanger Protector

Can someone tell me if the front heat exchanger protectors are made out ov 3/4 square, or 1 inch square aluminum?

1 inch square steel actually stock from yamaha.

Tese are the ones that I have made in the past. I have never seen the steel one. You are the second one that has mentioned steel ones. I am getting ready to put a studed track in my sx and need to make a pair, and couldn't remember the size of the material. Thanks!
