Exciter II Studding & How Much for Protectors?

I am looking to stud my Exciter II Sx-opinions on studding the sled-will be used for mostly trail riding with some lake runs.

Second question, how much-ball park should I pay for heat exchanger protectors, if I stud?

Not sure of cost but the front protectors are a must and I recommend the rears especially, if you ride hard or will use the rear suspension to the point of contact. 3/4" studs max !

I have a spare set of rear exchangers I'd sell. .50 on the dollar. Don't have a clue what they are worth though.
