mark and drill the track first watch out for ur idler wheels. then pop in as many as u can and then put the plates and nuts on. spray the studs with some WD40 right before u tighten them . then use 3/8th impact gun and ware a glove on the hand ur using the allen key to tighten them if u dont have an impact gun use a drill a nice strong one. i average like 1 1/2 -2 mins per stud. so liek 96 takes me like 2 hrs or a little more.

Do you hang it up and install from behind the machine? I have heard some people tip the sled over on its side.
I studded an SRX 5 years ago. I laid it on its side, used the template to drill the holes that was supplied with the studs by woody's and just turned the track by hand. May have to loosen the track a little before you do this.
There is a specail track drill bit for this. I believe I had to buy mine sepeate not sure. It was a long time ago

Use some deluted dishwashing liquid to lube the studs before you push them thru the holes.

i've just popped the snowflap off and lifted the rear a bit and like they said, take the belt off and just grab a chair and go. was a big help having a second pair of hands to be on the other side holdin the allen wrench.

I lifted rear of sled up and clamped template to the track and drill all holes out. Then I moved template to drill the next set of holes. We used those quick clamps. I was laying next to the sled on one side of it. I had a friend laying on the other side pushing sleds through. We had another friend at rear of sled putting on backers and nuts and another friend using a 3/8 palm impact on nuts. We did 144 studs in less than 45 minutes. Get some beer and invite a couple friends over.

i used white out to mark the holes - did the whole track before drilling any holes. drilled out the rivets for the flap and removed that and suspended the rear of the sled so the track is off the ground. i drilled all of the holes and then put the studs in after. make sure you kind of burn thru with the track drill.
