Trying to dial in an 03 viper it's bone stock, 144 studs up the middle on stock finger track, has a bender kit in it right now with a 2002b helix and silver (i dunno if it's yamaha or bender) secondary spring. was gonna install heel clickers in it...

here is a viper set up that will get ya close, for use with single pipe, red primary spring only, stock 14.5 rollers.
heel-4.0 / middle-3.3 / tip-4.3
helix - 48/34 to use with a red secondary at 90 degrees twist...
Though I would update our results for others using HC on a non-piped Viper.
Top RPMs were a little low with the initial setup (above). Engaged at 3800, then climbed to 7900 and stayed there all the way through.
After some tinkering, we ended up with the following setup...
Primary: red spring, heel 4.3, middle empty, tip 3.4, using stock 14.5 rollers
Secondary: 48/34 helix, red spring at 80 twist.
Engages at 3900, then climbs to 8550, but drops about 100 RPM on a long pull (+3000').
Not a bad setup. Did 107 mph in 4000' on GPS (118 on speedo)!
Wish I could get that 100 RPM back, any recommendations?
MrViper, thanks a bunch for the initial setup! Managed to get the recommended 48/34 helix from another TY member (thanks stealth800).
Thanks also to SNOWRULES for his time, his experience, his tools and of course his heated drive-in basement.
PS - Testing performed on 1/2"-1" snow covered lake at -15*C. The machine as described above is also equipped with reverse.
