Hello all, I am new to this site and have been reading info for a few days .What a great source for info !!
Am having trouble with my 98 xtc 500 running sluggish and getting very poor gas mileage (6-7 mpg) on groomed trails.Talked to a Yamaha machanic he gave me this set up.Adjust floats to 24.5 mm(had to bend tabs alot).Needles, leave the clip in the middle slot but moved the 2 washers from under to on top of the clip. Everything else stock.151.3, 45, 1 3/4 turns out.
Seems to run great on the stand,but have no snow to test it out!
How do these adjustments sound to all you Guys.Any input welcome.

Sounds like it many be rich,how's your plugs look, ever check after a good
WOT pull??
what mains suppose to be, you can check in the tech area(link in my sig.)
all adj. are there.
ever service the clutches?? washed cleaned check for worn out parts???
