Anyone know what I need to do to put the Viper front shocks on an 01' SRX? I bought the brackets from Hauck to mount the Viper shocks on the SRX already. I put on 1 side, and it looks like I will have only 2-3 inches of travel. Do I need to go with the Viper radius rods as well to widen the front end to give it more travel? I know someone has done this, and I just want to make sure it's done thr right way before I go up north in a few weeks. Thanks!

not sure what you bought, in the past they only sold an adjustable bracket for the shock with stock style eye mount.

i sell a bracket that does mount the shock from a viper on to the srx bulkhead, maybe hauck does as well but i havent seen it yet. mine will be ready for sale this week, steel bracket, nickel plated, with rubber bushing and template for bellypan hole.

if you didnt have to cut a hole in your belly pan, you dont have the correct bracket.

you can run viper shocks without widening the front end, run no preload, make sure to realign your sled up front and readjust your carbide preasure as you will lessen it by droping the arms down.

pm me if you need a set of brackets
