Uncomfortable Viper

I don't understand how a seat riser gives you more rider foward?
all it looks like it does is tip the back up, the front of the seat is still the same height?
isn't it? if the whole seat was 2" higher I would want one, but it looks like the seat is just at a angled sloped to the front. not like a Boss high rise

Yah --- I'd feel like I'm sliding forward all the time too!

Seat and handle bar risers are always popular posts on this site. If you search around you are sure to find quite a bit of information on both.

As seat risers go, Excell Motorsports is the only company making seat risers for Vipers that I know of. This could be a lower cost altrenative to a Boss seat. See link below.

However, since these risers are pretty expensive, many TY members have made their own which you should see if you search on this topic.

There are many options for raising you handle bars. Just keep in mind that you will have to use longer throttle and brake cables if you use a riser taller than 2". Rich at Rich Motorsports can set you up with these. I am partial to the Rox pivot riser myself. I just installed a 2" Rox pivot riser on my Viper this fall. Depending how long your arms are, you might be able to get away with a 2" pivot riser. I am 5' 10" and the 2" riser feels great for me. You can also get one of these from Rich Motorsports as well.

Good luck. G.B.

The link works but If I go to excell motorsports website, i can't find them on the website? Can someone help me with that, i feel like an idiot lol. Thanks.
