hey all,

couldn't helpbut notice that a lot of you srx guys have your pipes polished up very very nicely. dont have a pic, but mine aren't lookin all that hot lol. any suggestions for getting started? i have the snowmobile itch, but no snow to scratch it with yet! looks as simple as steel wool and polishing compound...could it be that easy???

I just use mothers aluminum polish, makes them look like a mirror with just a little time. I love having everything looking good under the hood.

they've never been polished before....i get the impression these mother's products will work well with little work?

the one that seems to work the best is the mothers billet. or at least works the best and easiest for me. but any f the mothers seems to really work nice. billet may be harded to find too.

just use the polish first by hand acouple of times. Then what I did was use a powerball, used for wheels and it comes out great!!!!
