I have an 04 SX Venom and I was wondering what i could add to pick up more bottom/ mid range with what i have done to it already. So far I have done the head gaskest mod. (single layer now) I have a snow stuff can, and 51/43 helix with a green secondary spring..... Any ideas???? Primary weights, springs????? :o|

you could gear your sled down.there's the reed stopped notch mod also.or you can get some read spacers

he hasn't ran his sled turk..he lives close to me..he needs to get studs and get it out on the lake to really give you any info on where its at...hes just scared of the viper thats all hahaha

Yeah turk i havent been able to really run my setup yet, i have only gotten short runs. When I get my sled out on the lake ill find out what my rpm's are and hopefully eric or myself will be able to get back to you with those numbers. Also I was wondering about the setups you had posted on the tech pages for clutching. you have the setups for the sxr600 trail.... when you say a trail setup do you mean aggresive trail or just regular trail riding setup?

I gotta know your wide open throttle rpm,s right now to help you. Those specs are so old I never wrote stuff down & hardly remember any of em.

hey turk sorry it took so long to get back to you.... finally got the sled out tonight... my buddy's went out and i got my 100 mph, the rpm is between 9000-9100... when i launch off of the line it hits really good.... i raced my buddy with a 2001 xc 600 mostly stock, we did a rolling 50 mph run and i took him the entire way until around 102 then my sled started to dog leg and he said that when he finally started to get past me he said his gauge was reading 105. what could i do to get more all around power? hopefully i have enough info for you now. thanks.

Change inner rivet to a 4.5 gram. should get ya close.
