Well...i'm glad to say say that running those 8dn-20 weights really improved the sled..its a diffrent animal threw and threw...corner to corner backshift was great..the only problem I had was a pesky kitty..my buddies 04 f7 was running real well..he owns his own perf. shop. But heres how the race went down. off the line the f7 was getting its @$$ chewed by the viper and was about two lengths behind...all the way until i seen 109 on my dreamometer and he went by me pulling pretty hard but stopped about 1-1/2 sled lengths ahead and we let off...now to my understand an f7 with the y-pipe,clutching,can(killing power)some cdi box I believe..and the air vents...AND he out weighs me by about 40 pounds SHOULD be behind on top end... i'm assuming since i'm running 8dn-20's 3.1 inner 2.4 outter and a 51/45 helix green secondary..that my problem is the helix finish angle is too steep..and isn't allowing the belt down far enough for good top end..other than that the ride was awsome..alittle icy and only one fender bender but nothing serious!
