packers vs. bears

Bears!!!! favre will break his leg and the pack will announce brett will be new head coach!!! could you imagine the legacy with him as head coach??? WOW!!!!
 
The Bears! no pressure, (well maybe some, it is the Packers after all) they are bound to play well.

Don't care what team you root for,but if you don't admire favre and his love of the pure game, you ain't no football fan
 
What's odd as a Lions fan (don't know why) I am in agreement with you snoway. If you can't admire the sportsmanship that Favre has for football then you don't understand the game.

I was listening to the post game interview that John Kitna was having today after the win against the "Star" team and he mentioned how Brett came up to him after their last game together and said a few very complementary things to John. I think that Brett is representative of what a quarterback and a team leader embodies. He may not have the best record but he is a true sportsman.
 
Anyone ever see #4 thump his chest????
never gave alot of thought to farves retirement til that post game interveiw last night...couldn't help but get choked up along with him.

Never been a Packer fan but I have to say Farve is a class act that has given alot to the game and he will be missed - don't know of too many players that have had a love for the game like he has - always exciting to watch - curious to see what he ends up doing after football - can't really see him as a commentator - almost like to see him in some kind of coaching position - I'm sure he could have anything he wants in Green Bay!

haha. I'd also like to see Favre in a coching position in GB. He will be inducted into the hall of fame in his lifetime. 16 years straight. But do ya think the Lions will draft yet another wide reciever? HA! Just what they need...for the 5th year in a row.
 
i think it was proven last night!! the bears still have a rookie quarterback who has gotten lucky all year.... just this time the defense couldn't help him!!
Favre ...... what a great guy.... hate to see him leave!!!! congrats to the pack!!! thats the best game they have played all year and they clobered the heck out of us!

I have been saying this all season "lucky" even when they were winning, a win is a win to me and I will take it, but there is no way Rex G. is super bowl material.

Favre has proven himself to be a outstanding person both on and off the field I have always liked him.
