600 SXR 01 jetting or what?

I have a problem with this sled. It has been blackening the spark plugs and basically has poor preformance. Poor bottom end etc. Wondering if it is jetting or oil. When starting it cold it runs really ruff. Even after completely warming it up and taking off it sound like it's flouding itself. Smokes like crazy too. This has been going on now for quite some time. Took it in to a shop last year and was told that the carbs were froze up. Paid 150 bucks and still runs like crap. Any suggestions.
 
pull carbs clean, adj. to fact. specs.,also adj. oil pump to spec.

check here and look up your sled for factory settings.

I agree get the carbs cleaned completely and try it again with a new set of plugs.Clean everything mains pilots needle and seat had the same thing happen to me with the same sled.
 
make sure its not something stupid like ur choke is adjusted wrong. if theres tension on it then that would cause u to run rich. also make sure the oil pump cable isnt split at the adjuster causing it to be wide open all the time make sure its in the rubber boot. if those are fine then id dig into the carbs.
 
oh and if the jets were dirty it would more likely make it run lean. ur fule screws could have vibrated out so id check thoes and set them to factory.
