Viper
If you are happy (and it sounds like you are) that's all that matters!!! Very nice sled.
akrievins said:It was probalby high in the US, but I've never in my life seen a viper selling for that price in Ontario. Oh, I forgot to metion... the guy delivered it for me as well from Holland, MI. He drove 6 hours and had to deal with the boarder crossing. so 12 hours of driving total... he stayed over night here in Canada. That's quite a bit of gas in the guys truck. Ahh well, if I over paid I over paid. These sleds are becoming fewer and far between... especially with such low mileage.

My dealer still has abrand new 2002 viper!
You could have bought a brand new 02 viper for $5800 canadian with one year warranty. My dealer still hasn't sold it yet. Might even take $5k now who knows.

That woulda been a sweet deal as well. I tried calling a few dealerships and all of them seemed to have outrageous prices. If he's asking 5800, he probably wouldn't budge too much on it, or at least I haven't had luck with dealers reducing the price that much. Then I'd pay taxes on 5800 which would put me at $6670.
Ahh well, I absolutly love this one! I've spent quite a few hours polishing up the tunnel. Mothers Aluminum polish works great! Almost a mirror llike finish. I also shined up the silencer and can.

Just the kinda stuff I like to hear!
I knew someone selling a brand new 04 Blue ER for 8000. It was too much for me, but that's a nice sled. You've got the Ohlins shocks on your correct?

Buy the Rigel Blue radius rod cover from http://www.bluhmenterprises.com/products/moto-brite-lites.php?pn_category_id=33Canadian Viper said:Nice Sled, bought one in Michigan in the spring .I bought a skid plate for mine also and ordered the radius rod covers(there running board trim)from Royal. The color is way off from viper blue, and did not fit the bottom radius arm(bigger than top)So I took them off. Just thought I should warn you.Probably will take the arms of them off and paint them instead.Good luck with your purchase,And I hope it snows soon!!
They will fit your viper i have them on mine and the color matches pretty well .
Dennis kirk has them.

That's a good price for Ontario. I paid $6000 last year for an 02 with 1100 km
( roughly the same miles and deal 02 in 2005; 03 in 2006 ) and the only way to get a cheaper one was to take one with 4, 5 or 6000 kms on it. I paid a little more than you, but I got electric, reverse, blue skiis, skid plate and wheels, plus a cover. I wanted to long track it with an M10, so starting with a low mileage sled gave me a good starting point. Hope you have a good year with it, and you'll find lots of help on here with any questions.

Thanks yamyrider and 1badz,
I did my homework around Ontario... so I knew I had a great deal. There were a few vipers with like 7000kms and up, for just over 5000. I can't really take a sled apart and put it together like most people here, so I had to go with a nice low kms sled.
I wish I had electric start and reverse. I wonder how much those are to get put in. I think I'll go with reverse first, as I store my sled under a boat port in the winter and I always have to pull it back in. Reverse would be handy!
Nice sleds guys!
