Went to Back Lake N.H. this past weekend...WOW !!! The dam thing love's fuel !!! Still was too lean on top...I thru in 65 pilots and still needed more..165 mains was the biggest I had on me..Then also raised the needles to the heavens...I have to change the slides..Anyone know if the 38mm tm listed in the Parts Unlimited book would work in the Yammi carbs.???
 
there is actually ice up there? it hasnt been real cold man, be careful! been well above freezing up there up until the last week or so, how much ice was there?
 
There was enough to make many people happy !!!! Including me !!! And I will be back there ...
 
its nice up there. family has a house in pittsburg. they should have so much snow now and they just dont :( it sucks a LOT lol!
 
Snow for trail riding was minimal...I went to Test&Tune on some ice....I'am happy..
 
yeah, not much more than 5 inches of snow I would guess. by the way, what sled is it that you bigbored??
 
I'am using GYT twin pipes and my carbs are bored to 40mm...Also my cylinders are race ported..Lets put it this way,my cranking compression is 185lbs...Thats alot for a twin..Also I'am running it on VP-C12...It likes fuel....

It's 1995 V-Max 600 LT.....Bored to 700cc's race ported,carbon tech reeds etc....Just a little fun sled...
 
wow, sounds pretty cool! got any pics? I can post em for you if you need, pm me. whats your main trail sled?? and I thought my merc trail twister was a fun little extra sled lol!
 
It runs ok so far,but it seems to be "peaky"...I have to get it to @ 8300 rpm to make it happy....185 lbs is alot...Actually might be too much...
