Does anybody know if the speedo and tach off of a 2000 700 sxr will fit in a srx Gauge pod? And if they only fit in certain year pods what years they are. I don't Know if the speedo and tach were different between an sxr and an srx in the same years. Any help?

Just as long as they are both dual or both single headlights you should be ok.

speedos same 00-01 but tachs are different, gas guage will work though.

Why wont the tach work? Would it work If I just used one of the headlights? Or is the tach all together different? The dual headlights glass is clear and i don't know if the single light is clear. The dual headlight looks like the glass is plastic and the light comes out better. I know to run both headlights it would require stator plate work. This is a pod being converted to a 97 sx to remove the old pod, headlight to get more light, and gauges.

This is the exact same thing I did a few years back. Get the single headlight pod with the big gauge openings. The dual head light sleds have a different electrical system and the tachs are not compatible. Also there is not enough watts to power both headlights with a 97 stator. Look at the last picture in my avatar.
