Hey guys and gals. Will a 1998 Vmax skid plate fit a 2002 SXR 600. I think they are the same body style.
Anybody got any clutching tips or minor mods for these sleds.

Yes, the skidplate will fit and for clutching you can look at the tech page or just wait for Turk's help.He is the clutching master in these parts.

I had a bender clutch kit on mine.The cylinders were machined so the reeds can open all the way along with some trail porting.My dealer took it for a ride and said its the fastest sxr 600 he's ever rode.Afer mods like that,it really needed triple pipes to let it breath but i never did it.I ended up selling it and getting an srx.
