Is there lots of you guys out there? New to the forum and have run this engine three years now with good luck. Tried lots of set ups with clutching and carbs. Just wondering whats out there?

hey i got one, just bought it this year thinkin about takin it out this weekend what elevation are you runnin at?

Well we unload at about 4000ft and only go up to about 6000-7000ft depending on where we are. Any porting or anything done? Which pipes are you running or carbs? Hope you enjoy it I had good luck. Let me know how she goes.

running jaws ceramic pipes, 8000 ft and higher, trail porting for pump gas. 38mm mikuni carbs how about you?

Im trying some Mikuni taper bore 38-44 tmx carbs this year. Have some lean conditions in 1/4 to 1/2 throttle but working them out. I also run the jaws pipes but had Richard from B.C. build them for me, he did a great job and they work excellent. I had Lowell Horning port my engine and am very happy with his work too. I have an Ekholm tunnel and suspenion too. What is your cranking compression at your lowest altitude? Im running about 165psi at 2200ft. Just running premium fuel with no problems at altitude. Pretty happy overall with the whole unit.
