Just finished a track swap on my 97 Vmax 600 SX...
Dumped the old track, added a Camoplast 1.25"...that went fine...
But, I can't seem to figure out how to put the park brake back together...the biggest problem right now is the top spring...
DOes anyone have a diagram or write up on how this all goes back together?
Thanks.

I never install them back on because their a pain but I actally put one baclk on last week. You have to unboldt the aluminum hos on your steering gate so you can drop the boldt down you ony have to take off the one side of the parking brake bad then you van pull off the chain case.

I can 1 up that... Next time you pull the back half of the case, pull the rotor off at the same time. No need to un-do the brake. It will help if the key is facing up, so there is no search for it
I ended up with a Willwood master cylinder and lever off from a M-1. Lots lighter (both the handlebar assembly and the machanical parking brake gone) and simpler for those not familiar with the Yamaha parking brake.
