I put on adj. transfer rods last summer.Didn't ajust anything on them since. But I need to transfer more to track. When I punch the throttle,I spin out like crazy, there is a slight lift on front. My front suspension shock is backed off all the way,my centre shock is on softest position.Limiter straps are backed off also, about 1/4" of thread showingahead of nut.Transfer rod upper spacing above the plastic washer thingie is about 3/4" without me on the sled.To get weight to transfer back more I have to adjust this gap bigger. What would you adjust it to.I have yet to play around with these rods.Set up correctly I hear can make a huge difference when you are pinning it from a stopped position. But man my track spins like a wilderbeast.Need to hook up better.Any hints you guys got to share with me on this topic.Got a 1 1/4 " RipSaw track also.I am geared down 19/39 now.

open them as far as they will go and put the front shock spring tight to press down on the track. You cant hurt anything makeing adjustments yes you will lose top speed but with a 1 1/4 rip you are looking for traction right.

its all on how u ride. if ur gonna be rippin on the trails then who cares about top speed. because trails around here are pretty twisty i clutched mine and have the best transfer i can possibly get at the moment. just make sure that ur not adjusting all of ur sled to one setting just for traction because if its going to affect your other areas of snowmobiling and not make it fun its not worth it trust me

If your goin to be doing alot of trail riding ,you dont want a whole lot of transfer ,you want as less as possible. If your goinn to be drag racing your buddies then you want more transfer, The more transfer you have the harder it is on your suspension. You will tear it apart in the trails!

Well my sled does 116 on the gun with more transfer than stock. Is fun to ride on the trails and compitative in a drag race.Yes it is harder on the sled but with any peformance upgrade there is.Reinforced w arm,non slip drivers, upgraded shocks with proper spring settings, tight bushings, and better ski runners is a start. To each his own spin on!

I stiffened the rear front suspension shock. It was at bare minimum before.I got it set up according to the manual at harder position.Let limiter straps off a bit more. Now has 1/16 thread showing ahead of the nut.Opened up gap on transfer rods from 3/4" to 1 " to see what will happen.
