Owners of SXR600,preferably 2001 models:What is the height from the floor to underside of your front bumper, and what is the height from the floor to the underside of your rear bumper.Hopefully this is with your stock ski's attached.I need to see how much I am out by in my heights. Thanks guys.

I'll try to get mine in the garage today and measure. I set mine to some specs I found on this site and I have about a 4" sag in the front (measured it sitting at rest then used a floor jack to jack it up until the skis started to lift)

Well I tightened up the front shocks and tightened up the rear suspension front shock, let off the limiter straps so that there is only 1/16" of thread showing ahead of the nut.Transfer rod upper gap increased 1/8" to 7/8" overall.Sled now sits approx 1" higher on the front end.Back end height from floor to underside of rear bumper is 20 inches.

Limiter strap bolt settings are min 10 mm and max 35 mm. Transfer rod is set so that when sitting on the sled in riding trim the rod is centered between the stops. Front suspension setin is 35 to 40% of total shock travel. Measure bumper height with suspension fully extended, measure bumper height after compressing the suspension and releasing. Subtract one measurement from the other and this will give you your ride height. should be 35 to 40 % of 229 mm (9") this is for the 6 and 700's. Agressive rider may want less droop.

By 10 mm minimum you mean 10 mm of thread should be left showing.I did whay you said with the trasfer rods while sitting on seat and looking down, the space was equal on the spacing.Just fiddeling around a touch to see what happens.Really does what to raise the front end a bit when you punch it.

10 mm from the top of the threads to the buttom of the nut where it up against the bracket on the arm.

got the minimum adjustment of 10mm on the limiters,it is what I had before.Tightened the track up to 1/2" sag with no pull.Wound up secondary to 80 this time.Went into that field that was deep and this time no noise.Got into it and started turning while pinning it.No ratcheting or slipping sounds were heard.Motor just reved up and away I went.Still using my 8DN belt from last year.Clutches are a little bit warmer then before for sure, but not hot enough that I would burn myself after 4 seconds.I am happy about that problem.
