Exciter II oil consumption

who ever wants a copy let me know. I have a Exciter factory man. and would be willing to send the a copy aslong as they shipping for the cd or i can email it but email will take a few days to get it all to you.

thats what i'm talking about the inside setting pump stroke,
yea you can run it a little with out the air box on,it may want to
run lean so becareful,

take nightmanx1 up on his offer and get that CD manual!!!!
 
i had a 93 ex570sx that was much the same way. plugs were always black as tar!! the last thing i replaced on the sled fixed it , and it ran savage!!!turned out to be my plug caps!!!just for the hell of it , remove yours and put an ohm meter across them . should read 5 ohms i belive.

keep us posted,,these ex pumps seem kinda hard to get dialed in(adj.),
but definitely doable..it will be easyer when you get the man...

M/J 320

P/J 42.5

Pilot outlet 0.8

air screw(turn out) 5/8

Power jet
left carb 160
right carb 200

Float level 17.1 to 19.1mm
 
no power jets on this one. Just staright mikuni's.

Thanks nightmanx1 for the info on the oil pump. Do you have this on CD in PDF format. If so I am interested in getting a copy.

I have CD's of the 700SX ,SXviper, Mountain max and also a CD of the 600 non power valved sleds. Any body needs something let me know.

Thats what the book is saying 1988 and on power jet L/R listings(mikuni vm
-38 ,shows it in the pic. too..

what kind of 600 N/PV sleds does your cover(years?)
 
It covers 600 triples
02-03 Mmax
02-03 SX600R
02-03 Venture
02-03 Vmax

I should have this CD today hopefully. This should also work for the 600 Venom for some things.
 
Mine I think is a 92. It's not the 93 sx. Could be a 91, I would have to check the registration. I have 5 sleds and it gets hard sometimes to remember all the years.

CD manual didn't show today , maybe monday.

not a problem it is for an 88 or 89 but the settings should all be the same. I know my 87 came with the VM38 carbs and not the butterfly carbs.
