Hi, I just bought a cylinder leakage tester the other day and went outside to test out my cylinders last night.
The instructions that came with it are not very clear at all and Im worried that the guages that are on this thing are not working correctly.
Can someone walk me through how to use it?
This model has 2 guages and a regulator. The input pressure is supposed to be anywhere from 10-100 psi (no higher). The first guage reads the psi of what? and the 2nd guage (on the outlet side) reads a % of leak-down with red, yellow, green, and "set" ranges marked on it.
How do I calibrate or 0-it-out?...I couldnt get the pressue on it turned up past ~20psi without the leakage guage going PAST 0% leakage (above where the guage reads)...shouldnt this be up around 80-90psi for a normal cylinder without problems?
Could the % leakage guage be defective?
When its all set correctly what does the PSI guage tell me and/or what should it be set to?
Thanks for any help in advance!
