I'm installing a 144" Mountain Performance kit in my 01 sxr. I having trouble setting the track tension. If I set it to what MPI calls for .75" with 22lbs the suspension will not flex when I set it down. If I have 3 to 4 " of droop then the suspension will flex and the suspension tightens up the track when compressing. MPI has been of no help to me, I call them but the boss is too busy and none of them never call me back. They are nice as pie on the phone of no help. Can anyone HELP me out here?

I run my 144 pro-action with about an inch and a half with NO weight. 3/4" WITH weight is way too tight. Rule of thumb - run it just tight enough so it doesn't ratchet. You might get a better response in the mountain forum.
