Trailing Arms

Are the Viper trailing arms the same (other than colour) as the trailing arms on a 2001 Venture with plastic skis?

Also are there any after market trailing arms for the plastic ski sleds and are they any good?

there are a lot of aftermarket trailing arms. contact 2000srx they make some along with others.

Viper trailing arms have longer spindles than the other yamaha trailing arms. Also, the kimpex/sno stuff aftermarket trailing arms are junk, don't buy them.

No, Viper trailing arms are diffrent look at the letter on the front of your trailing arms it should be a M which is for the Viper. This weekend I smashed my sled and couldn't find a trailing arm anywhere for a viper. My brother brought me one up from a place called Sport Mart in Sterling Heights Michigan, it was Silver and they have them in stock for $85.00, it seems to be a very nice aftermarket part. I have a catalog for them, let me know and I can see if they have a web site.
