I took my Viper out for a trail ride the other day and after 15 miles it stopped dead! No warnings at all. I pulled the plugs and they looked ok. The engine did pull over a little hard but would not fire up. I got the machine home and pulled the carbs and reeds to see how bad the pistons looked. There was no visable damage so I pulled the power valves to look in that side but everything looked good. The only changes made from the last ride was I added studs to the track. I oiled down the engine until it turned over with less resistance. Then I thought I should bleed the oil pump just to make sure the oil was getting to the engine. The machine was up on it side for a few hours while studding it. Now the machine seems to run fine. Anyone out there with any info?

Maybe the fuel pump, although the one time I had problems with mine it never started up. I dethawed it with a hair dryer to the airbox and ran fine all day.
