Trails are open in SW Wisconsin. Me and the boys from our snowmobile club went out yesterday afternoon breaking trail, not the best snow for making trails, but at least we're ridin. 15 of us went out breaking trails, one guy flipped his brand new RTX *** over tea kettle, he didn't get hurt but really screwed up the sled. Scared the crap out of him though.

We were going through a field and there was about a 2 foot bump. Well he went too fast over the bump, got too much air and his skis slammed into the ditch where he landed. He flew over the handle bars, and the back of the sled went vertical and flew right over the top of him. Broke the windshield and gauges off, bent the handlebars almost down to the gas tank, cracked the hood up pretty good, and somehow locked the track up.

He's hoping insurance will just say it's totaled, but I don't think they will. We figured out a rough estimate of between $2000-$3000, depending on what the deal is with why the track is locked up.
