Alright heres the problem. both me and my dad weigh in at just about 250 lbs and we both have ridden his 94 VMAX 600 (not at the same time). the problem is, is his boards are sagging way bad. any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

You may want to look into some traction brackets. My brother has these on his viper and I know that they will fit on my 2001 SXR 700 (I've tried them) They may fit on your sled and maybe even your dad's as well. They are like a big angle bracket that you rivet to the outside of your tunnel and the top of your boards. They have some raised holes to give your boots some traction. You will want to make sure that the rivet holes clear any heat exchangers. I found these on ebay:
YAMAHA SXVIPER/SXVENOM TRACTION BRACKET BLACK
Again, I'm not sure if these particular ones will fit, but this is basically what you need.

I drove a 1/2" aluminum rod into the curled edge of the tunnel on my 93 VMax 4 to strengthen footrests.
