I have read several of the posts on suspensions and just want to see if I can get a little bit better handling with suspension adjustments. I have a 1998 Vmax 600 SX with the stock suspension. I purchased the sled used and have never changed the settings on any of the springs in the suspension. Right now the two springs one large in back and one smaller on up front in the rear suspension have about 1.5 - 2.0 inches of compression left. I also have about 1.5 inches on each of the springs on the front skiis. Is this a good setup for the stock system or should I experiemnt with something different. I weight about 180 lbs. I like to ride agressive but not as much as some guys I know. Thanks for the help

I have plastic skiis already. How should that help?
long travel that sled, it will be amazingly better.
also when you have the skid out, do a little preventative repair.

Plastic skis are lighter and handle better in the snow
