There is an 83 exciter for sale here locally so i am looking for some input on value. I am considering it just to have an old sled to fart around on or let friends/family ride. The ad says it was just tuned up, fires right up and runs good. It only needs a new hood. He is asking $350. Any input on value would be appreciated.

if your not ecxited about the hood and it runs...yea 350 is a fair price

Looks like an Enticer to me... I've been trying to tell people the difference all week. Guess I'm just going to have to pin the loud handle and show them.
Not only an enticer but it's an 84'. Sounds like a good project. Windsheilds are pricey though.

Cool, thanks for the info guys. If i decide to buy, I dont really care about the windshield. Would just need a hood in better condition...or say f**k it and ride it like it is since it would be a beater sled.
