From the tech pages:

New 2002 SRX700 1000ft

51/43 Helix, 8-bu weights w/3.6g rivets in tip and 2.4g in 1st hole, WWW primary spring, Green secondary spring

I don't know what gearing that is for, but I'm pretty sure my sled would bog down with a set up like that. I have the same weight and helix and springs, but 4.5 grams in the outer hole and ?? gram in inner. Could it be that my gearing, which is probably lower than the set up calls for, is making it spin violently causing the overshift and rpms to fall? The rpms drop to like 7400.. using this helix.
Thanks

If I was to take a stab I'd say that your rpm drop would be related to too much tip weight (or weight in general) rather than your helix or gearing. What's your holeshot rpm? Is it comming out hard then rpms drop and she falls on her face? What's your sec wrap? How was it woking before your mods? Little more info please.

Run 3.6 in tip; inner empty & green at 80 wrap. Also depends on whose helix ur using.

OK, I think I have too much weight in general. When wrappet at 80 degrees it will come to 8200 and then fall to 7800 with a 47/42 helix. With a 51/43 and the same rivet combination it will not even go over 8000 before it falls to 7400.

Remove inner weight & play with tip weight only. Keep green at 80.
