hc settings are out to lunch. I had a 700 sx-r with bender pipes & hc,s. Gotta know what rpm,s are now to help.

clutch

Is there a good way to start setting up clutch with out know the rpm i am going riding this weeking and i dont have much time to test the clutch when i get back i could give the rpm and fine tune then thanks :2strokes:

It is totally 100% hugely impossible to help until your rpm,s are known. Gotta know how ur primary & secondary are set up now & what rpm,s are from start to finish. No way no how can you be helped until you supply this info!

help

went riding yesterday when i first take off the rpms are about 8700 to 8800 then it drops to 8500 and stays there i have the red spring 2.3 in the heel and 3.3 in the center none in the tip i have the stock rollers. :o|

clutch

I have 4.2 in the heel and none in the middle and none in the tip i get about 8800 to 8900 for rpms. it does not seem to have the top end like it did when it was stock. also wondering if you could help me i had the clutchs alined at the dealer ship and put a new yamaha belt on rode for 200 miles. on my way home yesterday i heard a nosie so i pulled over i checked the belt and the top of the new belt was coming apart and yes it is a yamaha belt. thanks please help :o|

That is your biggest problem... heelclickers can't pull a 47 helix. You need a new helix with a low finish angle, then you can load the tip weight and get some top end out of it. Some people like to run a finish angle helix of somewhere around 34-36 degrees. Also you might want to get a set of 15mm or 15.6mm rollers. I'm sure one of the guys that can tune the heelclickers in can help you out with the rest.
