Removing old oil??

Need to get the old yammie lube outa the SRX i thought i remember
a post not to long about it can't seem to find it.

give me your ideas on the best way or your way to to this,i got some nice
interceptor ready to go back in..or if somone has the link,,thanks..
 
A small hose and syphon it, or runn it low, and then just add the interceptor. Maxdlx
 
Hey Daman why not just mix the interceptor with the yamalube? I have always believed in not changing a sled cold turkey onto a different oil.
 
I know Wal mart has a "pump" type syphon $7 looks like a soft soap dispenser on steroids! has a 18" hose drop it in there pump away!
 
just start dumping in the interceptor as needed, no sense in wasting the oil you already have in there, and it sure isn't going to hurt it at all.
 
i know i can just dump it in but doing that you won't get the full
benefits of the syn. oil.,i did fill it up when i got it all out but a qt
so i do have a mixture right now.

maxdlx i know what you mean about that i've seen them,stopped at TSC
but didn't have one,i'll keep looking.

did you mean that you wont get the full benefits of the synthetic oil as soon? Because you will still get the full benefits, it will just take a little longer until the yamalube is all gone.

1-Yes

2- IMO you won't,, because it's mixed with yammie lubes crapy base stock.

but no big deal holic deed is done,were good to go...:)
