I finally got to ride my sled today after it beein broke since febuary last year. I put a 1.5 camoplast intence track on since i wasnt gonna run studs becuase i didnt want them to put a hole in the head exchanger and end my season early again. but that new track hooks hard. i didnt think it would do much with the 3 inches we got on the ground, but was i rong. i think with a good hardpacked base of 3 inches with some soft on top it will really plow me away. I let my dad take it for a ride and he didnt get out of the yard, he turns around hits the gas stood it stright up the bumper saved him from going all the way around. he then had to go back inside to change his pants haha.... only thing i have to do is tightin the track up a little bit more it rachets a little from a dead stop lunch.... all and all im pretty happy with it

How did you get a 1.5 to fit? I am assuming you are talkin about your 97 vmax? I thought the track deflection was 1.18

All the protectors do is make it so the studs on the track wont hit the heat exchanger. if you have studs you need them. with no studs i was told on here that if you want taller lugs you need to take them off so the paddles clear.

Right. There is the room with the big drivers as long as the protectors are not in there. You need to make sure the track is of the proper tightness.

I almost went that big but got a real good deal on a 1 inch 9830H (AC quiet track actually). And put the savings in a set of C&A Razor's from Rich.
