srx with the edge skid, first time out on the lake!!!
Hey guys I got to line up with a bunch of guys this past weekend out on the lake. This was the first time i did this with the edge suspension under the sled. WOW WOW WOW what a difference!!! In the past I had no chance with any of the sleds out there. This year I was leading the pack at about 1000 feet. If they would jump out on me I would just run them down. What a difference. When I took it out on the trail about a week ago I thought it felt faster but I didn't think it was going to be that much of a difference. My buddies couldn't belive it. I almost forgot the sleds that I was beating, zr900 clutched, two xc 800 piped and clutched, fusion900 clutched. Not bad for a little 700.

hey what lake did you end up going out on? I got your message but not til later after i was already done running. I was out on the lake pretty much all day, never saw you out there.
We did go out there but we did not know where to park. The one bar was packed so we just went to little muskego for about an hour.

Ryan and david you guys should come out to tichigan this weekend and we can do some playing/running. Nice ice on it, real smooth. Last weekend it was 5-6 inches, it will be REAL thick this weekend with all of the cold.

I saw it and it looks awesome in that sled. It is an edge skid, not an M10.
there are some pictures on here some where. Just do a search of my name or something. Its an edge skid out of an 05 polaris. And it wasn't to bad of a swap, that is when you have someone who knows what they are doing aka "n2oiroc"

Does it really transfer that much more?
Yes it does, The first time I rode it was on the trail with the rear blocks set to most transfer and im not kiding when I say this I could not keep the skies on the ground. So at the first pit stop I switched the blocks to the least transfer and it was better but I thought it still was a little to much. Out on the lake I had the blocks set to least transfer and it would lift the skies about a foot high for about 50 feet then it just sat down and took off like i never felt on this sled.

and that would explain partially why I never can hook up. Well, that and the original track and studs that I am embarrased to even admit is still even remotely associated with me or my sled. I finally got the shocks revalved, so it rides better and transfers more (now it's 6-8 inches off the ground...oooooo I know I know!).
So Johnny, tell me, and be honest, did you really beat these guys?
Kidding...You rocked your chair back on the Cats tails and stuck a stick in the Bee hive over at HCS with this...LOL

Mike I' racing saturday other wise I would come I dug my prostock out. I haven't ran it in two years.
all the sleds out there were my friends. The zr 900 friend said he was not getting good hook up, never saw him in any race. The Fusion would launch the same with me then once the skies came down he said I would pull him and he couldn't catch up. Both xc 800 would take off better then me and be out by four sleds but by a 1000 feet to a 1/4 I would catch them and pass. As soon as I would pass I had to lift, ran out of room in the bay. This is no lie. I have raced these sleds lots of times and would get my butt kicked all the time out on the ice. This year was a different story with the new suspension.
