The suspense is killing me. I had an '98 SRX which ran good, but I bought the nightfire F7 back in '04 and it doesn't feel as fast but it is quicker than you know what - hopefully he has enough room to chase him down. The group I ride with ZR8 a ZR9, rx1 I could beat with the SRX just had to have some room, with the Firecat I just maul them, leap out and they don't catch up - just a cluth kit and D&D PAC kit(fuel restrictor). I used to be even with the ZR8 then slowly walk away with the SRX now I'ts not even close. I have had fun with the F7 but I think I'm ready to go the 4 stroke route. I haven't run an APex yet - if they can routinely spank a firecat(w/out crazy mods) then I'm buying. some really good deals out there!
 
It's probably too late but I have 3 buds with F7s and time after time I could take em out of the hole and @ 750 ft one would be in the dust and the other would be almost right beside me. Not much for mods, cans, cdi ???? I don't think you would have much of a problem. I got your back man! suspense is past killing me, I shakin!

I was out with a f7 today and his recoil fell off! The metal cracked around the mounting bolts and we had to start it with a rope they make them so light it reminded me of things like that happening in the 70s.
 
I luv yammi, but I'm bettn' against him. Under those conditions I dont think he will get the hookup he needs. Also the 05's I've seen run REAL strong and will most likely take the holeshot with the conditions he spoke about. A few have turned around the 150 mark on the dyno. They are lite and fast. However I wish him the best thats for sure.
 
Maybe he is pulling our legs, that would be wrong to do that to your fellow yamahammer's. I hope that there is a response before I go to bed. Maybe I will stay up all night and not go to work in the morning until I hear something.
 
well im back

sorry for the long wait i was sledding all night with 6 of my good friends went out to the river did some open water running got some vids of that ,any how the Cat was a no show not even a call till about an hour ago he said he had to work late and had no time to race maybe another time ,i told him a no show means a win by forfit (whatever he said) so i still got my srx and i still dont know if i can smoke a f7 or even come close i certianly hope to see him out next week and talk about this and try agn but just for fun . sorry guys but if we do hook up at a later date i will have the video going thats for sure...
